About

Why do we call it “railfanning”? Because when we go out we may not see many trains, but we always see lots of rail.

This site is a photo blog of Ed Kapuscinski’s railfanning adventures.

Ed is a Philadelphia native living in Baltimore since 2000 who is generally interested in the visual aspects of railroad photography (and having a good time heading out to see the world).

You can send Ed an email at Ed.Kapuscinski@Gmail.com, find his modeling work at Conrail1285.com, or track him down on his favorite railroad forum: The Railwire.

If you want to keep up to date on new posts to this site, it’s highly recommended to “Like” the Facebook Page, since new updates will be posted there.
