A Rainy Day in Kennett Square

I’ve always loved the former PRR Octoraro Branch, so when the opportunity to check in on its current operator arose, I took it.

The current East Penn’s operation on the line is centered in Kennett Square (which also has a great brewery that’s worth checking out if you’re in town). While passing through on the way home from Longwood Gardens and The Brandywine River Museum’s Homer to Hopper exhibit, we decided to stop for some refreshments, and of course, I had to stop by to see what was going on.

The answer was… nothing. Well, not entirely. There was power tied up (which is all I expected).

I like the ESPN’s paint scheme. It’s nice and photogenic.
